CHALLENGE

A Hubbardston home needed a complete transformation — from the exterior facade and landscaping through every interior space. The goal was a modern farmhouse aesthetic with open living areas, a statement kitchen, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow while honoring the wooded setting.

DESIGN

Modern farmhouse architecture with white vertical siding, dark roofing, and a prominent stacked-stone chimney. Interior features vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, wide-plank white oak flooring throughout, black-framed grid windows, and a two-tone kitchen as the centerpiece. The great room opens to a composite deck with cable railings overlooking the backyard.

A fully renovated home with magazine-quality finishes, open-concept living, and a striking modern farmhouse presence that complements its natural surroundings.

CRAFT DETAIL

The details that make the difference.

This full-home renovation included a complete exterior refresh with white board-and-batten siding, dark asphalt shingles, and a full-height stacked-stone veneer chimney. Inside, we framed vaulted ceilings with exposed white oak beams and installed wide-plank white oak flooring throughout the entire home. Black-framed divided-lite windows were placed strategically to frame views of the surrounding woods. The staircase features white oak handrails with black metal balusters and custom green-painted treads. The kitchen showcases dark green shaker perimeter cabinetry, a massive natural white oak island, marble-look quartz countertops, brass fixtures, and pendant lighting. A composite deck with black cable railings extends the living space outdoors.
